As the decades roll by subtle changes embark molecules radically rearranged no words spoke volume muted bones and joints yelling decibel ten Ten years past aches pains felt little stringed racket in tow court coverage line to line competition welcomed Composite paddle now in hand court smaller “I got your back” knees back stiffer step slower fuzzy eyesight calls made before whiffle ball kisses the cement Spotted skin…am I now an owl? genetically cursed species perhaps elastically largest organ flapping when clapping C or D cup on the way Help me touch my toes just ankles or shins okay forgetting what I’m trying to remember still vertical at sunrise thankful for another day ther day
